As some of you have probably seen I have been working a lot recently with Architectural Fine Art Photography Processing and having a whale of a time. I was looking through my image library to find a building to work with when I saw this image from a trip to the Lake district.
I thought it might be interesting to try my new processing workflow something other than buildings.
So here is the start image

Pretty bland heading for the bin. And here is the version given a Fine Art Photoshop treatment.

Pretty different I think you will agree. The thing with true Architectural Photography is its about showcasing realistic features and vistas inside and out that look realistic.
Fine art Architectural Processing is all about representing my vision of architecture through post processing.
Though this is not just about the processing, the initial image forms a crucial starting point so creating the right image that will work with this type of processing is paramount. I really like being able to start with a blank canvas and create something unique and punchy that has drama and impact.
You will either love it or hate it, either way I would like your opinion? Please leave me a comment.
